We have had a great first half!! I cannot believe how fast the year is flying by. We have alot of exciting activities and days coming up. I also hope to plan another field trip in Spring.
The 100 Day celebration was a great success. The students enjoyed activities counting to 100. We also learned about Groundhogs day. He saw his shadow, which means 6 more weeks of Winter. The kids are hoping for snow!
Catholic Schools Week was also a success. Thank you for all your support!
Pancake breakfast was a blast.
In the next few weeks we will be studying the past in Social Studies. They will also work on their writing and reading skills. Students now have access to Mathletics and Reading A-Z online so they can work from home on improving math and reading skills.
Homework: Please remind students to use pencil and write neatly. Homework is due on Fridays and they need to be reading for 20 minutes a night. The blue folders have the work from the week, which can stay home. Make sure to sit with them while doing homework, so you can monitor their work.
